Eclectic grouping of 1936 team rosters several with their original mailing envelopes as collected in their year of issue by one Richard Unckrich of Columbus Ohio. Collection includes the following: 1) Boston Braves Roster and mailing envelope with several player names (including Hall of Famer Rabbit Maranville) crossed off. Roster includes Hall of Fame catcher Al Lopez and manager Bill McKechnie. Roster in EX/MT condition envelope exhibits wear. 2) Chicago Cubs Roster for spring training along with a note from the team secretary advising Unckrich that the names of players no longer with the club had been crossed out. Roster contains the names birthdates and other biographical information on each player including Hall of Famers Gabby Hartnett Billy Herman and Chuck Klein. 3) New York Giants Mailing Envelope in fair condition empty. 4) St. Louis Cardinals Roster tri-fold piece printed in red ink includes Hall of Famers Branch Rickey and Frank Frisch (team management) and players Dizzy Dean Leo Durocher and Johnny Mize. Excellent condition. Four teams represented with six pieces total.
