Perhaps the most attractive of all the different coin issues of the 1960s and early 1970s the 1971 Topps Coins design features a color player photo surrounded by a green or red band set inside a metallic coin of copper blue or gold. The coin backs are colored gold (coins #1-51) silver (#52-101) or blue (#102-153). The coins are relatively common though complete sets are less so. The issue is packed with stars and future Hall of Famers. Complete set grades EX on average frequently with visible edge wear. Image quality is generally strong each of the coins stored in plastic holders in binders. 153 coins total.
