One of many test issues in Topps' fertile 1960s period the Action All-Star Stickers are an exceptionally scarce issue that were sold in strips of three panels accompanying a stick of bubble gum. Condition is an issue as surviving examples are often torn at the perforations with stickers removed from their backing. Measuring more than 15 inches in length it is difficult to find any examples from the set much less one with three panels intact. Presented are four such examples each one featuring a Hall of Famer on the center panel along with other smaller Hall of Famers on the adjacent panels. Each presents well with an average grade of VG/EX light wear evident at the edges and corners with very light surface wear. Collection includes the following: #1 (Carl Yastrzemski also including HOFers Orlando Cepeda Bill Mazeroski and Al Kaline); #5 (Willie Mays also including HOFer Ron Santo plus Pete Rose light water staining and toning visible on this example grading closer to G); #15 (Frank Robinson no other HOFers); #16 (Ron Santo also including HOFers Hank Aaron and Al Kaline). Four difficult stickers total.
