Lot Description  

Outstanding (and timely) full ticket for the Opening Day game for the 1962 Houston Colt .45s who would just a few years later become the Houston Astros. Opening Day for the Colts at Colt Stadium was an exciting one an 11-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs a complete game from Bobby Shantz and two home runs with 6 RBI by right fielder Roman Mejias pacing the Colts. Bright green ticket presents as EX/MT with some light wear an exceptional expansion ticket from the very first game played by this year's American League champions.
