I have one to sell!
Clean but well-worn ticket stub from June 24 1970 the final day that baseball was played at Crosley Field in Cincinnati. The park which had opened in 1912 had outlived its usefulness as the city elected to construct a multi-purpose field along the river to house the Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. The Reds won their final game at the park 5-4 scoring two runs in the bottom of the eighth on back to back home runs by Johnny Bench and Lee May off Hall of Fame pitcher Juan Marichal of the Giants. Ticket grades FAIR condition with surface and edge wear along with some creasing. Still a tough ticket the final game ever at Crosley Field played as the team that would become the Big Red Machine began its ascent.
