Interesting scrapbook page containing items related to ballplayer-turned-evangelist Billy Sunday. The black paper page measures approximately 12" x 10" and features several newspaper clippings related to Sunday's evangelism. Attached to one side of the page is what appears to be an offering slip where a woman named Annie Bailey has contributed ten dollars toward Sunday's ministry on February of 1922. Adjusted for inflation $10 in 1922 is about $153 in 2019 dollars. At the bottom of the slip Sunday has applied his signature in black fountain pen ink a broad signature measuring 4" in length by approximately 1" in height. The ink has faded slightly but remains dark and bold the lightening of the ink fading evenly and consistently maintaining strong eye appeal. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
