1934 R310 Butterfinger premium signed in blue fiber-tip marker by its subject Hall of Famer Charles Gehringer. Condition-wise the card is POOR with creasing staining and tears along with what appears to be a trimmed right edge. The premium is backed with what appears to be scrapbook paper rendering it thicker than is typical for the issue as the piece was likely simply trimmed out of a scrapbook from the era. Oddly enough the paper backing helps to stabilize the card serving as a backing to help keep the various tears from expanding. The result is a strong presentation despite the condition flaws.
