Second of the season and first home game for the Dodgers. After three games at Downing Stadium the team moved a home game with Hartford to Hartford and played the last remaining home game on their schedule at Mt. Vernon NY. This was due to the league taking over the team due to financial struggles. This game against the Panthers drew 8801 fans. Interesting program as it showed how this franchise tried to bank on the more famous Brooklyn Dodgers complete with Bums mascot on the front cover. The LA Dodgers sued the team for copyright infringement. The most important aspect of this program is the inclusion of Jackie Robinson. Listed as GM of the team when in all actuality he was nothing more than the "face of the franchise". He is listed on the first interior page and is pictured on the interior page and on the back cover. It should also be noted that HOFer Andy Robustelli was the team's head coach.
