One of the most difficult variations in the T205 issue the Dolly Gray card that features his 1910 statistics on the reverse. While SGC's population reports on this card are a mess we can draw some comparative data by examining the population reports of PSA. As of this writing PSA had graded just 68 examples of this variation an incredibly low number particularly given that the company has graded nearly 40 000 cards from the issue in total. What's more PSA has graded just five examples of this variation higher than the EX level a testament to the rarity of the card particularly at the higher end of the register. SGC's population reports relative to that of PSA is generally lesser on the more popular prewar tobacco issues like T205 so we can reasonably assume that there are very few examples graded higher than this. The card's assessment of EX 5 is due almost entirely to border chipping notable at the bottom corners as well as a small area along the left edge. Color and brightness are excellent the printing slightly off register to blur some of the finer details but not significantly detract from the visual appeal of the card. Centering is nearly perfect. An outstanding example of an extremely difficult variation necessary for the completion of a T205 Master Set.
