Lot Description  

One of Mantle's most popular cards depicting the great Yankee outfielder posed at the end of his powerful swing a field of blue over his shoulder. The grade of EX 5 assigned by PSA is accurate but does not speak well to the eye appeal of the card. Due to centering and a crisp colorful image the eye appeal of the card is stronger than the assigned grade. However corner wear is consistent with what one would expect at the EX level. Still a beautiful card.
