Lot Description  

Mildly-toned index card featuring the signature of August "Gussie" Busch who purchased the St. Louis Cardinals in 1953 and served as the team's chairman president or CEO until his passing in 1989. In 1984 the Cardinals retired the number 85 in his honor. Strong blue ballpoint signature with some staining at the upper-right corner. Basic cert from James Spence Authentication.
