Often considered the "rookie" card of Hall of Famer Jimmy Collins issued as a supplement to the Sporting News on September 2 of 1899. The elephant in the room is the large trim at the bottom-right corner as a large percentage of the card is missing. That aside some edge and corner wear is evident as is some age-related discoloration around the edges. A desirable card in any grade supplements from this issue are often subject to trimming and other alterations simply due to their size. Such is the case here the trimming rendering the card more affordable and yet still despite the missing corner a presentable collector-grade example.
