Well-centered with a clean surface this collector-grade example of Mickey Mantle's beautiful 1953 Topps card is a strong example given the condition. Corner wear is mild with some pronounced surface wear that somehow does not distract greatly from the aesthetics of the card. A lack of heavy chipping at the bottom border lends the perception of a higher-grade card; setting against the black SGC holder the card manages to pop regardless of the technical grade.
