Outstanding card from the 1914 issue produced by the Collins-McCarthy company for Zeenuts products. The card picturing pitcher Bert Coy of the Sacramento/Mission Wolves depicts the reliever with one of the three teams he would play with that season (the others being Oakland and San Francisco). The 38-year-old journeyman would last a few more seasons latching on with the Wichita Witches of the Western League to conclude his career where he would play alongside future Hall of Famer Bobby Wallace. The card has been graded VG 3 by SGC the important component being the coupon still attached at the bottom edge. The coupons were redeemable for prizes and as a result the overwhelming majority of the surviving Zeenuts cards are found without their coupons attached. In this case the coupon is still present adding a great level of desirability and value to the card.
