Outstanding collector-grade example of Ty Cobb's card from the popular E90-1 issue dubbed "The Cracken" by many collectors in contrast to the T206 nickname "The Monster." The PR 1 (MK) grade assigned by PSA speals to rounded corners light surface wear and wrinkling but more to several small areas of paper loss on the reverse. We believe that the MK qualifier refers to a very light black line on the back of the card a thin mark that extends from the "S" in "BASEBALL" northeast to the upper-right edge. The technical grade assessed by PSA is in our opinion very conservative as the wear and corner rounding would not seem unreasonable in a FAIR grade or even a GOOD grade. Regardless of the numerical grade assigned however the visual appeal of the card is much stronger a bright and colorful card with a clean crisp image.
