Pitcher Jack Chesbro's 1904 season was a momentous one; his 41 wins remains an American League record that will never be touched a record that lasted almost the entire history of the A.L. In 51 starts Chesbro completed 48 games and pitched four more in relief threw 454 innings and gave up just 338 hits his ERA a paltry 1.82. This example of his popular T206 card - the only pose of Chesbro featured in the entire "Monster" - is an attractive midgrade specimen with clean borders and strong print registration.
