Outstanding original photograph picturing Cardinals outfielder and eventual Hall of Famer Joe "Ducky" Medwick. The photo pictures Medwick at the end of a posed swing the identical image of which was used for Medwick's 1936 S&S Game card (also included with the lot). The photo appears to have been trimmed slightly at least at the left edge with masking agent clearly having been cleaned away - neither issue interferes with the crispness of the photo. The reverse identifies the photographer as Joe Medwick along with some handwritten notes a 1939 date stamp some long-dried adhesive and the Sporting News Collection hologram. Guaranteed Type 1 with PSA/DNA. Two items total.
