14 1/4" x 21" advertising poster for the 1957 Pittsburgh Pirates schedule as sponsored by Iron City Beer - "The Best Beer Around Here!" as the advertisement explains. Green and yellow cardboard sign exhibits wear at the corners and edges along with several creases and a water stain at the lower-right corner. At the center of the upper edge a piece of the edge has torn away a triangular piece perhaps an inch long by an inch high that likely came loose as a result of being torn down from wherever it was once hanging. Part of the Ted Patterson collection the piece has been dry mounted to a cardboard backing using cellophane shrinkwrap to hold it in place; we do not believe the piece is permanently mounted to the cardboard. A handsome display.
