Grouping of five well-worn by attractive movie posters all promoting Western-style films including one 1970s reprint. Each of the five posters have been dry-mounted to a cardboard backing and wrapped in shrinkwrap the shrinkwrap for the Phantom of the West poster has begun to tear at one corner. Four of the posters measure approximately 27" x 41" the Gene Autry Singing Cowboy poster measures a smaller 23" x 35". Collection Includes: 1) Ghost Town Law: 1942 full-color movie poster colorful with some amateurish restoration mounted to some type of paper backing with some repaired tears at the corners and edges with some type of white material. 2) Lone Star Ranger: 1942 full-color movie poster exhibits significant wear separation at the folds and a variety of small holes particularly at the folded areas. 3) The Phantom of the West: 1931 full-color poster extremely strong appearance there is some wear at the top-left including two small tears and some minor wear at the corners. 4) Riders of the Deadline: Full-color poster for the reissue of a 1943 Hopalong Cassidy film featuring William Boyd appears EX but at closer glance appears to have several heavy creases and tears that have been repaired leading to the possibility that the poster has been mounted to a linen or paper backing that we cannot see due to the dry mounting. 5) The Singing Cowboy: 1971 reprint of 1936 poster printed on bright modern paper. EX condition with minor folds and tiny tears at the edges and corners. Five posters total including one 1971 reprint.
