Lot Description  

Brilliant high-grade example of Ivey Wingo's 1915 Cracker Jack card. A familiar name among prewar collectors Wingo enjoyed a 17-year career in the majors breaking in with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1911 and ending with a single game and at bat with the 1929 Reds. Inbetween Wingo posted a lifetime average of .260 retiring the National League leader for most career games for a catcher (also the record for most errors for a catcher in his career).
