One of the most underrated players of his era Lefty O'Doul won 25 games for the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League but arm trouble forced him to become an outfielder. It was there that he had his greatest success in the majors batting .398 in 1929 and .383 in 1930 finishing an 11-year career with a .349 lifetime average and .413 OBP. Exceptional midgrade card from the popular 1933 Goudey issue is well-centered with lightly rounded corners a strong example of a popular card.
