A key card from the first in a long series of cards issued by the Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago distributed to be sold in vending machines. The 1921 issue consisted of 64 cards featuring four players from each major league team. This example graded VG 3 by SGC is extremely well-centered with a clean image light surface wear and more pronounced wear at the edges and corners. When viewed under blacklight a mark can be detected flourescing under the ultraviolet light but not visible in normal illumination giving the appearance of a small line drawn in invisible ink. That aside an outstanding card a beautiful photographic card from late in the career of the all-time batting average leader.
