Pair of cards from the T213-2 Coupon Cigarettes issue both depicting popular catcher Chief Meyers. Both variations of the "fielding" pose are presented here the first depicting him with the New York Giants graded PR 1 by SGC due to obvious surface abrasions most notable in the green area at the top of the card. The abrasion appears to pass through to the back of the card almost appearing to be a puncture. In 1916 Meyers was waived by the Giants and picked up by the Brooklyn Robins at which point his T213 card was updated to reflect his new team affiliation. That card is also included here graded FR 1.5 by SGC due to overall wear consistent with the grade. Meyers would be waived the following summer signing in August with the Boston Braves with which he would have his final 68 major league at bats. Two cards total.
