Collector-grade Hall of Famer from the issue catalogued as W575-1 Henry Johnson Confectioners but the checklist that corresponds with the E121 Series of 80 issue. Graded VG 3 by SGC the image is strong but more importantly the Henry Johnson back stamp is extremely dark and visible against the background. With this scarce issue we believe that the purple stamps were actually applied by hand resulting in a variety of weights and angles to the stamped back. This is one of the darker and more legible examples we have encountered.
