The 1951 Topps Team cards are difficult to find in any grade. Featuring a young Richie Ashburn the 1950 Phillies won the NL Championship with a 91-63 record. Led by Hall of Famer and 20 game winner Robin Roberts with home run power from outfielder Dale Ennis catcher Andy Seminick and third baseman Willie Jones the Phils went on to be swept by the powerful Yankees in the 1950 World Series. The highest-graded example assessed by either company (PSA has also graded one example NM 7) this example boasts a strong image clean gold borders and sharp corners only light touches keeping the card from a higher holder. High-grade examples from this issue rarely make themselves available; this specimen is quite a find.
