I have one to sell!
The 1971 Topps Super set was an oversized card set printed on heavy stock. The set consisted of 63 cards with rounded corners and backs reminiscent of the regular 1971 Topps cards. The set is loaded with Hall of Famers and stars of the day. This uncut sheet represents the entire set. Due to the thickness of the card stock (and the approximately half-inch border that goes around the entire sheet) the sheet itself is well-preserved. The upper corners do exhibit quite a bit of wear including a bit of paper loss along the top-right (a small amount of which encroaches onto the Boog Powell card) and some heavy creasing in the top-left corner well into the card of Tony Perez. Additional spots of paper loss are evident at the top-right in the form of some heavy surface abrasions on the card of Donn Clendennon. Light creasing on the sheet sheet itself does not detract from the eye appeal of the overall presentation nor does the wear around all four edges. The cards do appear to have some fading but the image quality is still extremely strong. This is an excellent representation of the stars of the late 60s and early 70s. The sheet features Tony Perez (HOF) Gaylord Perry (HOF) Tony Oliva Lou Brock (HOF) Pete Rose Johnny Bench (HOF) Fergie Jenkins (HOF) Willie Stargell (HOF) Roberto Clemente (HOF) Reggie Jackson (HOF) Curt Flood Tom Seaver (HOF) Al Kaline (HOF) Willie McCovey (HOF) Bob Gibson (HOF) Carl Yazstremski (HOF) Harmon Killebrew (HOF) Joe Torre Willie Mays (HOF) Brooks Robinson (HOF) and more.
