The R310 Butterfinger issue was a condition-sensitive group of premiums measuring just under 8x10" and distributed with Butterfinger candy bars. They were printed on extremely light stock similar to newsprint and thus are subject to all sorts of condition issues. A version of the premiums were distributed to retailers for advertising purposes however to be displayed in locations that were offering the premiums. Those display pieces were printed on durable heavy stock with a red advertising overprint describing the promotion. The advertising displays are obviously far more scarce today than the premiums themselves. Presented here is a collection of six such premiums the most we have ever seen. Included are: Ralph Boyle (VG/EX some more pronounced wear at the left corners); Tex Carleton (F more pronounced corner wear along with some chipping and minor paper loss at the bottom; James Collins (F significant wear along the top edge and severe staining at the upper-left border);right and severe staining along the right edge); Johnny Moore (VG light corner wear with some edge chipping at the bottom particularly in the right corner); Bob O'Farrell (P paper loss at the left edge and severe staining along the bottom edge); Bob O'Farrell (VG/EX corner wear and some wear along the bottom edge). Six premiums total.
