I have one to sell!
Unquestionably the key card in the scarce and attractive 1934 Goudey baseball premium issue the R309-1 Babe Ruth is typically found in lower grades for the obvious reason that young collectors coveted the oversized premiums and used them as display items in their rooms. Tack holes creases and various forms of wear are common to the issue. Thought this example presents well a technical grade of GOOD can be assessed due to a vertical crease along the top of the card from the left edge to the area just near Ruth's face. Some very tiny flecks of paper loss almost immaterial dot the face of the card which also exhibits some corner wear. The reverse has two small strips of paper loss likely from scrapbook removal with the easel back intact. This particular example suffers from no pinholes. An exceptional example of a popular gum era premium featuring the most popular player of all-time.
