Exceptional grouping of six Charles M. Conlon photos. Includes the following: 1) Eddie Foster - 1910s Washington Senators photo some masking agent has been cleaned away from the area around Foster's head and clove some crop marks drawn with grease pencil and the number "929" writtin in pencil in the upper-right margin. 2) Lou Fonseca - 1920s image attractive with significant editorial markings and stamps on the reverse. 3) Neal Finn & Gordon Slade - beautiful dugout photo caption written in grease pencil on reverse in Conlon's hand. 4) Sam Griner - action image featuring Griner having just thrown a ball trimmed to 6" x 8". 5) Al Smith - 1940 photo one of Conlon's last works the image is folded along a heavy crease down the right side which has torn most of the right edge (still attatched at the top). 6) Hooks Dauss - clean photo two clear tape repairs on the reverse. Excellent collection of six photos all guaranteed Type 1 with PSA including one of Conlon's later works.
