Two of the eight carads from the Hires Root Beer test issue of 1958 which combined with the Willie Mays found elsewhere in this auction represent nearly half of the very rare set. Featuring Vern Law (PSA GOOD 2) and Al Pilarcik (PSA FR 1.5) both cards are well-worn and are clearly missing the large tabs at the bottom. Despite this these are two extremely scarce cards from a very desirable issue one of the most scarce of all the 1950s regional issues. Two cards total.
