Exceptional retail display cabinet intended to house Boston Garter products and sit on a retail countertop. Handome piece measures 11" x 12 1/2" x 9" a deep mahogany tint with a glass front and two shelves accessed through a door that opens from the rear of the piece. While we have encountered pieces of this nature that featured a Boston Garter logo on the front the only reference to the brand on this piece is the printed warning inside the door which reads in part "Use in connection with any other garter is an infringement of our trade mark rights and incurs the liability of prosecution." The piece is in remarkable condition with original hinges and knob on the reverse and very little sign of wear anywhere. While it is possible that the small glass window has at some point been replaced there is no real way to tell. Also included in this collection is a small group of Boston Garter ephemera including one actual Boston Garter in its original packaging (with printed instructions) four different Boston Garter display boxes and a small 6" x 10" print advertisement. Eight items in total the most notable of which is the beautiful cabinet.
