Outstanding collection of four photos picturing Hall of Famer Bill Terry. Three of the four photos all undated are 7" x 9" close-up portrait photos of the Hall of Fame manager two posed holding a baseball as if to throw the third picturing him glancing off-camera. The fourth photo measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" picturing Terry posing outstretched at first base dated 1934. It was prior to the 1934 season that Terry manager of the heavily-favored Giants was prompted to ask "Are the Dodgers still in the league?" when asked about the Dodgers' prospects for the 1934 season. Those same Dodgers swept a doubleheader against the Giants on the last day of the season enabling the St. Louis Cardinals to capture the National League pennant the ultimate revenge. All four photos guaranteed to pass as Type 1 with PSA/DNA.
