While the two photos included in this pairing do not picture any Hall of Famers or important milestones both are simply awesome baseball photos. When reviewing a collection of photos with our consignor we selected these two simply because their composition and subject matter were in our eyes spectacular - the types of photos we'd like to own. Included are 1) 1937 photo of Gene Moore of the Boston Bees in action having just "smacked the apple " according to the slug attached to the reverse. Excellent condition an area of discoloration near Moore's feet. 2) 1937 photo of a crouching catcher Jim Sheehan receiving coaching from Giants' catcher Gus Mancuso during spring training in Havana Cuba. Excellend condition a thin strip of framer's tape visible at the top edge of the photo. Two photos total both guaranteed to pass as Type 1 with PSA/DNA.
