As is the case with many of the surviving Turkey Red cabinet cards this example featuring Hall of Famer Joe Tinker does exhibit a few visible condition issues which reduce the technical grade. Most importantly however is the quality of the image itself which is virtually unblemished by the staining visible around the borders. Most collectors of T3s understand that some sacrifices must be made when choosing cards to build their set; even collector-grade examples are scarce and those where the damage does not interfere with the image are quite desirable. Such is the case with this example.
