Issued to Mrs. L. A. Bush an important distinction to know. "L.A." stands for "Leslie Ambrose " better known as "Bullet Joe" Bush who won 26 games for the Yankees in 1922. There is some confusion over who "Mrs." Bush was as census data indicates that Bush was married but there is no further information on his wife after 1930. In 1937 he married Alice Marie Wray clearly not the "Mrs." Bush referenced on this 1922 season pass. The pass gave Mrs. Bush and a guest access to a specific section of the ballpark written along the right edge of the pass.
