An odd printing anomaly is pictured on this N172 card of Mike Dorgan. Checklisted as card #132-6 the upper-left corner of the card exhibits an odd error whereby the ophotographic portion of the card - Dorgan's right throwing arm and baseball - appears as normal but the card around it appears to have been folded and pressed into the paper resulting in an awkward border and partially obscured Old Judge logo at the top of the card. The overall image quality is strong though the carc has been graded Authentic by SGC (due to reasons we cannot identify but likely related to the print anomaly). Cards with various printing errors provide a scholarly window into the early processes by which baseball cards were printed; as such print anomalies with issues like N172 or T206 are widely collected.
