Extremely rare pinback advertising Morton's Buster Brown Bread and picturing Jim Delahanty. The pins were distributed in 1909 to celebrate the champion Detroit Tigers very similar to the 1910 "Pennant Winner" bread issue but considered more scarce. Since the players are not identified on the pins there has been some confusion over the subjects and the Jim Delehanty was for some time unknown. The checklist numbers 16 or 17 pins though there is still confusion over the existence of some of the pins. A very attractive and rare pin highly desirable among even the most advanced collectors of pinbacks this example appears in VG/EX condition with some minor foxing on the front and reverse but remains quite presentable.
