Spectacular woodcut featuring Hall of Famer George Wright measuring about 4 1/2" x 8" in the giant Beckett holder dating to the 1879-80 issues of the New York Clipper. While woodcuts have varying degrees of popularity and demand in the hobby this example is an outstanding piece one of few items in the hobby that features George Wright alone outside the context of a team.
