Spectacular quartet of full tickets each to Shibe Park for the 1950 World Series. The Series which was swept by the Yankees in four games opened at Shibe Park and never went back as the final two games were played at Yankee Stadium. Presented here are four tickets to the Series - two actual authentic tickets along with two tickets that wound up being "Phantom" tickets because the games were never played - game 6 and 7 wholly unnecessary. Each ticket presents well averaging VG/EX condition due largely to softer corners and some areas of discoloration on the reverse. Such discoloration is often the result of being held against scrapbook paper for an extended period of time. The ticket fronts however are unaffected.
