Outstanding graphics grace this photographer badge and pass to the 1948 World Series. Entitling the photographer ("no ladies admitted") access to the third base photographer's basket the die-cut pass takes the form of an Indian head each feather in his headdress intended to be torn away and used as individual passes to gain access. A single hold punch is evident on the piece ostensibly through which a string was tied to hang from a jacket button. This example is extremely well-worn with significant staining and creasing three feathers from the headdress still remaining though found with signficang wear. The fourth feather has been removed. An exceptional piece.
