In past auctions we have offered a lithographic print entitled "Two To Win - One To Tie." The print depicted a painting created in 1910 by artist Cassius Marcellus Coolidge best known for his "dogs playing poker" paintings. The original was one of sixteen oil paintings created by Coolidge for Brown & Bigelow featuring dogs in a variety of human situations (including ballroom dancing testifying in court a Masonic initiation and camping). The print was extremely popular - popular enough to spawn this imitation a full-color postcard entitled "Enthusiastic Fans." The postcard is a knockoff of the original picturing very similar-looking dogs at a very similar angle to the original. In VG condition with some surface wear mild wrinkling and corner and edge wear. An interesting piece.
