I have one to sell!
Beautiful 9" x 7" photo picturing Lou Gehrig posed with Lester Patrick and members of the 1933 New York Rangers. Patrick at 44 years old inserted himself into the 1928 Stanley Cup Finals against the Montreal Maroons after an injury to starting goalie Lorne Chabot. In doing so he became the oldest man to have played in the Stanley Cup Finals a record that stands today. Patrick saved 18 of 19 shots on goal helping the Rangers to an overtime victory. In the photo Gehrig is presenting a ring to the Rangers' Murray Murdock who played in each of the Rangers' 400 games as a franchise at that point. The photo is in fine condition some minor corner creasing a slight corner tear and what appears to be two pinholes at the right corners being the primary flaws. The slug remains attached to the reverse along with the Acme Pictures stamp. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
