Pair of 19th Century figure-eight style baseballs each approximately 2" in diameter. One appears expertly crafted with two soft leather panels tightly stitched together. The leather itself shows some wear and abrasions but displays quite well. The second is somewhat darker and harder with stitching not quite as expert. In terms of overall construction though it appears to have held up better over the years with less wear and abrasion to the leather itself. Regardless of their differences both pieces present very well outstanding examples of early baseballs.
