Attractive card of Bobby Lowe graded FR 1.5 due to a single pronounced crease that traverses the card diagonally from left to right. The image quality is reasonably strong for the issue with above-average contrast and image clarity and overall strong visual appeal despite the accuracy of the technical grade. In May of 1894 Lowe became the first player to hit four home runs in a single game including two in the third inning against the Cincinnati Reds. For his efforts Boston fans "showered $160 worth of silver on the plate " according to Harold Kaese's book The Boston Braves 1871-1953. An attractive card of an interesting player.
