The second of two Lections Bob Meusel cards featured in this auction this example printed in red ink and featuring significantly more hole punches than the green example we are also offering. The purpose of the hole punches is completely unknown with nothing more than speculation surrounding the cards. Regardless collectors rightfully overlook condition when considering these cards as virtually all are of extremely low grade a case where the cards are simply so rare that acquiring a single example is difficult. Though Meusel is not a Hall of Famer the known specimens do not offer many Hall of Fame choices (Ruth Hornsby Chance and Frisch are the only known Hall of Famers) and Meusel is perhaps the best of the remaining players known.
