Framed to 36" x 11" this attractive panorama features a composite team photo of the entire 1929 Chicago Cubs organization (right down to the trainer and front office personnel) superimposed over a shot of Wrigley Field. Produced by the Kaufman & Fabry Co. of Chicago the photo of Wrigley is set on a white background and surrounded by photos of the team. The composite includes Kiki Cuyler (HOF) Rogers Hornsby (HOF) Hack Wilson (HOF) Riggs Stephenson Bill Veeck Joe McCarthy (HOF) Charlie Root Gabby Hartnett (HOF) and many more. The photo itself presents very well with no signs of wear beyond typical waviness and perhaps some slight toning. While the frame prevents us from examining the edges and reverse it also appears to be a vintage frame the word "CUBS" stenciled and painted in red at the top center of the piece just shakily enough to have us believe it was likely done by a youngster near the time of issue. As a result we would suspect the condition if the piece were removed from its frame would be stronger tham most examples of this photo that collectors encounter.
