Gorgeous tin sign carefully mounted and framed to a finished size of 12" x 16 1/2". The attractive tin sign is lithographed in shades of red and blue manufactured by the Ohio Art Company of Bryan Ohio a company that was founded in 1908 and is best known today as the manufacturer of the classic toy Etch-A-Sketch. The company began making tin lithographed items in 1912 so the title of this item would better be expressed as "1910s". Well-worn the piece has several holes in the tin as well as a significant amount of abrasion particularly along the left and bottom edges. Presented in the frame however the abrasions and wear simply give the piece age and lend themselves to an outstanding presentation of an early tobacco brand.
