I have one to sell!
High-grade die-cut baseball player issued by Rafael Tuck & Sons around 1888 for the purpose of scrapbooking a popular pastime in the 19th Century. Each of the ten die cuts represents an unnamed player in a different uniform identified by team. The teams represented (New York Pittsburgh Baltimore Boston Brooklyn St. Louis Philadelphia Indianapolis Detroit and Chicago) are actually the configuration of teams in 1885 (including Brooklyn Baltimore and St. Louis from the American Association) which raises the possibility that 1885 was the actual year of issue for this set as opposed to 1888 which is conventional wisdom.
