Spectacular colorful and well-centered portrait card featuring Christy Mathewson one of the absolute key subjects in the entire Monster. While corners are slightly on the softer side we believe PSA was conservative with the grade on this card as we have seen EX and even EX+ examples with softer corners. The card was part of the collection of a long-time hobbyist who kept the card ungraded for many years and was just submitted by us within the last several months. We believe the recent run in pricing on T206 portrait cards of important Hall of Famers may have resulted in the assessed grade perhaps being conservatively stated. Regardless a wonderful card one of the keys to the great T206 issue.
