Lot Description  

Exceptional photo postcard of the 1946 Peoria Redwings of the All-American Girls Baseball League. Team included outfielder Thelma "Tiby" Eisen who played a variety of sports in her lifetime including playing football for Jim Thorpe and was a quality center fielder in the AAGPBL. Also included was third base/pitcher Mary Reynolds who made the 1947 All-Star team at third and was the Redwings captain. Poor condition due to glue staining on the reverse otherwise strong.
